Description

The educational and creative workshop is led by fresco painter, art professor Hari Vidović, dressed as a medieval painter. The workshop consists of a tour and presentation of medieval frescoes in the church of St. Elysee from the 13th century and frescoes from the 16th century in the church of St. Roch.

 

 Next comes the practical work of making own fresco in the House of Frescoes in Draguć, where participant will prepare lime plaster and lay it on a clay tile that is more than 200 years old. With the help of a painter, everyone will paint the agreed motif in natural pigments, just like the old medieval fresco painters did.

 

With the help of a painter, participant's will paint the agreed motif in the fresco technique with natural pigments, as the old medieval fresco painters did. The motif of the workshop can be the painting of the decorative Glagolitic initial of the participant's own name, as in the Middle Ages.

 

Upon completion, each participant becomes the owner of his fresco and takes it with him as an original and unique traditional souvenir.
